Taylor Swift‘s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, is ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a second straight week.

The surprise double album earned 439,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the April 26-May 2 tracking week, according to Laminate.

The equivalent album units are 83 percent less than what the album scored while making its debut on top of the chart the previous week.

The 31-track double album generated 428.54 million on-demand official streams.

Swift dropped her highly anticipated album via Republic Records on April 19, and within a few days, it became the top-selling album of 2024 with 1.914 million units sold.

While the first volume features collaborations with Post Malone and the English indie rock band Florence + the Machine, the second volume contains 15 additional songs, four of which are previously announced physical bonus tracks. “Fortnight”, featuring Malone, was named the album’s lead single.

Written and produced by Swift, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, the 31-track double album has more than two hours of playing time in total.

The Tortured Poets Department is the eleventh studio album by the singer-songwriter and her fifth studio album in less than five years.

It is followed by Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time at No. 2, Future and Metro Boomin‘s We Don’t Trust You at No. 3, Beyonce‘s Cowboy Carter at No. 4, and Noah Kahan‘s Stick Season at No. 5 on the latest chart, dated May 11.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate.
