On Tuesday (April 1), Skrillex surprise released his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3.  The celebrated DJ announced the arrival of his new project on X, shocking his fans by dropping the 34-track, 43-minute LP unexpectedly, which features collaborations with Boys Noize, 100 Gecs’ Dylan Brady, ISOxo, Swae Lee, and many more guests. The album arrives two days after Skrillex headlined the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival for the first time since 2015, a performance which featured music from the new release. This project apparently marks the artist’s final release for Atlantic Records, with Skrillex tweeting about his label status back in November. “As I’m nearing completion of my next work and my final project for Atlantic Records I can’t help but feel very existential about it all,” he wrote, before alluding to his just-released album, “I’m thrilled to get this out and focus on more release[s] in 25 as an ‘independent’ artist.” (Billboard)
