Fresh off releasing her new single, “More To Lose,” on Friday (May 9), Miley Cyrus posted an Instagram Story that personally addressed the rumors that she is currently feuding with her parents, Tish and Billy Ray. When fans noted that Tish had recently unfollowed Miley on Instagram, people speculated that the two of them had a falling out. “I rarely comment on rumors,” Miley noted. “But my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us. She’s my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn’t know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me–simple, coincidental, and uninteresting.” As to her complicated relationship with her father, Miley adds, “My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I’m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.” She concluded her message, “Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.” (Billboard)
