My Chemical Cocktail returns to the Emerald Coast Science Center on March 1st from 6pm to 9pm. Take part in this cocktail mix off as you sample and vote for the most scientific cocktails in the area. Local bartenders and mixologists will be showcasing the chemistry, biology, and physics behind preparing these exciting cocktails…expand your vodka-bulary by sampling these scientific creations. The evening will also include light refreshments, live music, and chances to win prizes. All proceeds benefit the Emerald Coast Science Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Get into the spirit at this amazing event for guests ages 21 and up.

The DeFuniak Springs Home and Garden Show will be held on March 1st from 9am to 3pm at the Walton County Fairgrounds. This event will feature local craft artisans, plants and gardening supplies, clothing and apparel, home decor, a pet adoption event and a variety of food trucks. Entry is free but donations are accepted and appreciated. The event will be held rain or shine.

Spring Break Workshops are March 17th through the 21st from 10am to 3pm at the Emerald Coast Science Center.

Spring Break fun for the whole family! Check out hands-on activities, Creature Features, sciPad, and more March 17-21. Join us for a planetarium show, Creature Features, and fun on the sciPad March 17 and 18. We’ll have different hands-on workshops on March 19, 20, and 21 as well as Animal Tales shows March 20, time on sciPad, and additional planetarium events. We’re open from 10 am. to 3 p.m. each day. Be prepared to get up close and personal with unique animals like you’ve never seen at the Emerald Coast Science Center’s Animal Tales Show! It’s March 20th with shows at 10:30 and 11:45am. We’ll have a Flemish Giant rabbit, giant African bullfrog, Kinkajou, prairie dog, and boa constrictor, and wallaby in attendance at interactive shows with Animal Tales. Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation 2025 Concerts in the Village lineup has been announced. The area’s longest-running live concert series is held each spring on Thursday evenings at the MKAF Dugas Pavilion in Destin. This year’s family-friendly series will run from April 10 to June 12, featuring premier regional and national musicians and bands performing everything from classic rock and rhythm & blues to modern pop and nostalgic tributes. Gates open at 6 p.m., and concerts begin at 7 p.m. This come-as-you-are outdoor concert series encourages attendees to bring a lawn chair, picnic, or wine. Food and beverages also will be available for purchase from local food trucks on-site.

General admission tickets are $35 per person, plus a ticketing fee. Save $5 by purchasing tickets in advance online at MKAF.org. Children under 12 attend for free.
