Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani Join Lineup Of Performers At 2023 CMT Music Awards

A new round of performers has been added to the star-studded lineup for the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

Rockers Alanis Morissette and Gwen Stefani will take the spotlight on Sunday. Morissette will be joined by Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards, and Morgan Wade to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the “CMT Next Women of Country” franchise with the female-empowerment anthem “You Oughta Know.” Stefani will team with Carly Pearce for a world premiere collaboration.

This is in addition to the previously announced stars, including Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown + Katelyn Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, The Black Crowes + Darius Rucker, Tyler Hubbard and Wynonna + Ashley McBryde.

Rising stars Avery Anna, Chapel Hart, Jackson Dean, Lily Rose, Megan Moroney and Nate Smith will perform from the Ram Trucks Side Stage.

Shania Twain will be honored with the CMT Equal Play Award at the ceremony.

Ballerini and Brown will return as co-hosts of the 2023 CMT Music Awards, which will air live from Moody Center at Austin, Texas, on April 2 from 8 p.m., ET on the CBS Television Network.

The show will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
