Olivia Rodrigo has earned another major chart milestone with The Cure, which debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts dated June 6.
Billboard’s latest chart update shows the song opened with 19.7 million chart-eligible U.S. streams, 292,000 in radio audience, and 9,000 sold during the week ending May 28. The track was released May 22.
The Cure gives Rodrigo her third No. 1 on both charts. She previously led the rankings with Brutal in 2021 and Bad Idea Right? in 2023, giving her one chart-topping song from each of her three album eras so far.
Rodrigo has now placed 13 songs on both rock and alternative-based rankings, with 11 of them reaching the top 10. The Cure also opened at No. 1 on Alternative Streaming Songs and Alternative Digital Song Sales.
On the all-genre Hot 100, The Cure debuted at No. 5, becoming Rodrigo’s sixth top five hit and eighth top 10.
