Destin Commons & Bass Pro Shops welcome Santa to light the Holiday Tree! Enjoy free face painting, free photos with Rudolph & Frosty, as well as a holiday photo booth while you listen to festive tunes. At 7:00 pm, look for Lisa & Chris in the holiday parade (as well as Santa, of course). Followed by the lighting of the tree and fireworks! Get more details here.

Northwest Florida Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on November 22nd & 23rd at 7:30 pm, and November 24th at 2:30 pm. Ticket and performance information is available here.

 A Holiday Baking Class, by Chef Jim Shirah, will be held at the Destin Community Center for children ages 8-14. The class will be November 26th and 27th, from 11 am -2 pm. The fee is $40 for Destin residents/$50 for non-residents. Each student will learn how to bake and bring home several holiday cookies, treats, and more.

The Town of Shalimar presents it’s first annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 30th, at 5:30 pm with the lighting at 6pm. Join the countdown as we light the tree in front of town hall and the lights in Marquee Park. Enjoy finger foods, Christmas cookies & hot chocolate (while supplies last). There will also be carolers and much more.

Get in the winter spirit with The Village of Baytowne Wharf during the Here Comes Santa event November 30th. Cheer Santa on as he makes his way to Baytowne and watch as he lights our Village tree! Enjoy face-painting, kids crafts, and a beautiful fireworks display!

Santa’s coming to Uptown Station in Fort Walton Beach on Saturday, November 30 at 5:30 p.m. Be there for the tree lighting ceremony and the arrival of Santa Claus! Afterwards, stick around to watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas!

The City of Destin’s 33rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held at the Destin Community Center on Thursday, December 5th, 2019, at 6 pm. This will be an outdoor event for the entire family with a visit from Santa Claus. There will be entertainment from local choruses and musical groups. Refreshments will be served after the lighting of the tree. Donations of canned food will be collected for families in need. 

Don’t miss Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” A Live Radio Play with 4 performance: December 5th, 6th & 7th at 7:30 pm and a special matinee on December 7th at 2pm at the Sprint Theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. Enjoy the festive lights of Historic Downtown Milton on Friday, December 6th, from 5 pm – 9 pm! Caroling, carriage rides, Christmas market and the Pyrates Lighted Boat parade, followed by fireworks at 8:30pm

Pancakes with Santa is at Magnolia Grill on Brooks St., downtown Fort Walton Beach. The event on Saturday, December 7th from 7:30 am – 10:00 am benefits the Empty Stocking Fund for the Salvation Army.

Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas In The Park is Saturday, December 7th from 9am to 5pm at Navarre Park. There’s a Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk, reindeer games for the kids, a Merry Market with local arts and craft vendors,and the Christmas parade at 2pm..

Crestview will host its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Saturday, December 7th at 5pm near the Okaloosa County Courthouse on Main Street, followed by Crestview’s Christmas Parade at 5:30 pm.

The Holiday Pops Concert is at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on Friday, December 13th. Maestro Christopher Confessore leads the NFSO’s annual Holiday Pops concert featuring the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorale. Familiar holiday works will fill you with the spirit of the season!

The Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus presents “An Old Fashioned Christmas” concert at the Fort Walton Beach Auditorium. Show times are December 13th & 14th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, December 15th at 3:00 pm. Get ticket and show info here.  All proceeds benefit the FWBCC Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast presents “Holiday Pops feat. Matthew Morrison.”   Join Sinfonia for the most festive holiday concert featuring singer/actor of the stage and screen Matthew Morrison. Nominated for a Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award, Morrison joins Sinfonia’s full orchestra for an evening of the most cherished and festive holiday medleys, plus many of the songs that he has performed during his incredible career including his role as Mr. Schuester on Fox’s musical comedy series “Glee.”  Friday, December 13th at Village Baptist Church in Destin.

The City of Destin’s 35th Annual Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at 10 am. This year’s theme is “Santa’s Workshop.” The floats will start at the Downtown Destin Shopping Center (Old Time Pottery) and travel west down Harbor Boulevard (Hwy 98) to Stahlman Avenue. For those who wish to participate in the parade, applications are available at the Destin Community Center. In lieu of an entry fee, each entry must donate a new toy for a local charity and donations may be dropped off at the Destin Community Center. To watch the parade please stand on the north side of Harbor Boulevard.

The Spirit of the season will fill the air at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida’s Yule of Yesteryear! This holiday season there will be craft and food vendors from local restaurants and shopping for your last-minute Christmas gifts. 2019 Christmas ZOObilee is at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. It’s a new daytime event with live music, performances, contests, food, artists, and pictures with Santa. Enjoy the entire zoo plus, artificial snow, winter themed bounce stations and the perfect family photo opts. for the whole family.  December 14, 15, 21 & 22, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

First Baptist Church of Fort Walton Beach presents “The Live Nativity,” December 16th – 21st at the Corner of Shell & 2nd Street, from 6:00 8 8:30 pm. Visit the church website for more information.

Experience the 24th annual Magic Christmas in Lights at Bellingrath Gardens and Home. See dazzling light displays with 3 million lights as you stroll the garden estate and tour the beautifully decorated home, November 29th through December 31st (closed December 25th).

Bluewater Bay Marina’s 8th annual Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday, December 21st at 5:30 pm. Boats must pre-register for the parade with a donation to Niceville Sharing and Caring. The parade leaves Bluewater Bay Marina and travels north to Nelson’s Cove, around Rocky Bayou and south to the Rocky One marker before returning to Bluewater Bay. More details here.
